We had a very good vacation! Very good for a group of 14 people and the dog had a great time in the large garden. The pool was very pleasant during the hot days. The region around the gite was also magnificent with the vineyards. Thank you!

Excellent weekend of May 29th

This cottage is amazing, everything has been thought out for the tenants' well-being: a large tree-lined and enclosed park, a large comfortable house, a swimming pool, a ping-pong table that allows tournaments bringing together young and old. We appreciated the quality of the beds, the library and the games. Very welcoming and available host. Calm environment covered with vineyards.

"Impeccable and very well-equipped gîte" (posted on April 24, 2025)

This gîte is fantastic, everything has been thought of for the well-being of the guests: a large wooded park and a large house. You feel right at home with the well-thought-out furniture and library for at least 15 people, not to mention the quality of the beds, both the sheets and mattresses. The beds were made upon arrival, which was very much appreciated. All this surrounded by vineyards and a magnificent landscape. We had a wonderful 3 days in the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Celebrating 60 years of marriage, surrounded by your children and grandchildren who live in the four corners of France; finally, Sancerre is nice and practical! We were happy to participate in the preparation of your event.

A very comfortable gite, very well equipped! We couldn't enjoy the outdoor area due to the bad weather, but it looked sublime. A haven of peace for our family stay this Christmas... We were 7 adults and 6 children, it was perfect. The owners are well-organized, very kind and available, with thoughtful touches. A big thank you to Pascale for allowing us this beautiful stay... - Proximity less than 50m to walk through the vineyards, see photo
- Wooded garden to chill in the sun or shade
- Spacious and perfectly fenced grounds to enjoy these moments with open doors without risking your pet escaping
- Less than 15 minutes by car from the center of Sancerre

A negative remark (to say that): Misery to find a nearby bakery in August without going 15km. Which is a shame when it's so easy to get wonderful Chavignol goat cheeses nearby

Pleasant stay

We spent a pleasant week in this rental where we were warmly welcomed by Pascale. The gîte is large and functional in pure Berichon style. The equipment and dishes are numerous and of quality. The bedding is impeccable and very comfortable. The garden is large and wooded, complemented by a common pool very appreciated when it's hot. We recommend this rental very well maintained by its owners.

A particularly endearing family and 3 generations. They are welcome for another stay and we recommend them without reservation.

Stay at La Longère.

The accommodation is comfortable and very well equipped, it is located in a large wooded garden that allows you to stay cool even when it's very hot. The owners are very available and gave us good ideas for visits around the rental, ideally located.

Good welcome with a little extra. A bottle of red Sancerre. We didn't know it. Accompanied by goat cheese crottins.

Lovely hosts, great property.

Super property, very well equipped with lovely big garden and great shared pool. Plenty of space downstairs and nice bedrooms. A problem was promptly fixed and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Family - Arrival May 9, 2024 - A big thank you to Pascale for her valuable advice and all the information provided before our stay (order from the caterer, indications for visits, table for room assignments...) The welcome from Pascale and Didier was very warm, the wooded park is a haven of peace and we thoroughly enjoyed it: games for children, meals under the trees, naps for little ones and adults, everything is provided for the comfort (bedding, dishes, linen) and safety of guests (pool). Thank you to Pascale and Didier for their availability, we occupied the large gîte and the Longère with our extended family and will keep an excellent memory of our stay.

A very nice and well-behaved family that we recommend without hesitation!

The longhouse is a very nice accommodation. It is very well equipped, very clean with a splendid garden. We were 3 families with 1 or 2 children and we were not at all cramped. The only downside is the single bathroom but there are 2 toilets. The garden is very large and wooded, complemented by a common pool very appreciated when it's hot.

We had an excellent stay in August with friends in Pascale and Didier's gîte. In addition to a very good welcome and very good advice, we were pampered with several attentions: Sancerre wine, local cheeses... The gîte is very well equipped and the region is rich in things to do, see and drink :). We warmly recommend you! Plus the bedding is of very good quality!

We stayed for a short week in this very well equipped, very well decorated and very well located gîte. Pascale and Didier are attentive and considerate hosts, don't hesitate to ask them as they have many addresses! I really recommend these gîtes and their owners.

A top stay!
A great gîte with a magnificent and very pleasant enclosed garden. A great view. Very quiet. We were 5 adults and 6 children and we were more than comfortable in the gîte. The bedding is ultra comfortable.
Very welcoming and friendly hosts. They give very good gastronomic and tourist advice.

Superb gîte in the Sancerre region
We had a wonderful stay in August 2020 in this superb gîte in the middle of the vineyards. Pascale and Didier spoiled us on our arrival with wine, cheese, eggs etc... The gîte is very well equipped, the bedding impeccable (large comfortable beds - which is rarely the case in other gîtes). The garden, beautifully flowered, is large with a solar shower, very appreciable when it's hot. A vegetable garden is available.

Impossible to determine what was best: welcome, quality of services, environment, everything was perfect. We will talk about it a lot around us. Bravo Pascale and Didier.

Perfect for a stay with friends
We spent a few days with 2 families with 3 children each at Didier and Pascale's. The house is in the heart of the vineyards, well located for visiting the surroundings. Quiet, very relaxing. Didier and Pascale are quality hosts who take our comfort very seriously. The bedding is of excellent quality, the house is very well equipped. We will certainly return at a more pleasant time for the weather.

A real cocoon
Thank you for your warm welcome, your little welcome gifts. We had a wonderful Christmas with family, thanks to Pascale and Didier who informed us well about the local merchants to make good purchases. The bedding is perfect. And to conclude we had the pleasure of a magnificent fireplace during our stay :).

Very pleasant stay spent in the Sancerre region. Gîte du Petit-Senais very comfortable, very quiet. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Wine tasting of Sancerre accompanied by goat cheese from local producers/Visits of castles, sumptuous botanical gardens, swimming and fishing in the Loire. In short, everything was combined for dream holidays.
